Perfect! This is a concise, without being overly wordy, communication on a sound internet strategy. May I also add that the internet marketing strategy should form part of the entire company marketing, sales and service strategy. It must also be measurable and not be a stand alone method of gaining market share. I am worried that some small to medium companies have lost sight of the whole of business approach.

Looks like you’ve done a clear and concise job of covering everything but the kitchen sink! Seriously though, this is an excellent list for anyone to use as a cross-reference and make sure they are missing any steps in their strategy planning. While all the points here might not be applicable to some websites out there this list is one of the most comprehensive I’ve seen.

Now in 2011, the importance of social media has skyrocketed. Though site optimisation is still the most important, twitter and facebook has now changed how websites advertise themselves. Properly using social media websites is now a part of many SEO trainings.

Yes, but there is a lot more that SEO, in fact, without any SEO efforts you could be #1 for a competitive keyword based on incoming links (due to it being a great site, not SEO).
